Charming! We love staying at this hotel. The rooms are each uniquely decorated with antiques, the claw foot bath tubs are the best for a relaxing soak (stop at Uncle Jon's Soap shop in town for a bath bomb first), and the restaurants serve fantastic food. We've never had a complaint. Love the fact that during slow season, the doors to unrented rooms are left open so that you can check out the unique decor in other rooms.
GORGEOUS & CHARMING!! Rooms are beautiful, friendly and helpful staff. Berlin is the cutest town! Stayed here while visiting Ocean City and honestly I love it even more than staying right on the beach. I think we'll stay here from now on when we come to the beach!
Not pleased with the thought of a wedding reception here, also the discount they give you to stay as a result of having your reception here is very minimal. The upstairs looks haunted. A historic place for Worcester County, it is an icon, just not for me.
I've been to this hotel several times over the past 20years my family loves to go for Thanksgiving dinner. The outside is already decorated for Christmas and my family loves to take a picture by the huge tree out front. The service is always exceptional. The Thanksgiving meal is not a buffet but actually plates that are served and you can get as many as you want but believe me they don't skimp on any serving or sides of the traditional meal where I don't think that even the hungriest of people could eat more than two, the desert and coffee afterwards complete the holiday feast. It's always a pleasure and my family looks forward to our gathering every year!
I love the Cast Iron Claw Foot Bath Tubs. It's like stepping back in time. Great photo ops. Great food and music too.
