Was reluctant to rent from here because of the negative reviews. However, I figured I would give him a chance. I rented a car for the week and paid exactly what was quoted to me by the owner. He even sent somebody to pick the car up so I would have to get a ride back to where I was staying. I will definitely rent a car from here again.
It was a very disappointing experience I called a day ahead and scheduled a rental car For 1pm for a trip to Baltimore The man said ok and took my name and # I called Tuesday Morning the day we were to pick it up as we were running late and said I still want the car we are running a little behind on a voicemail be user no answer after calling 3 times ...I said so I should be there roughly around 2:30 he never returned my call so I tried him back around 1:15 and got him on the phone and told him he said he didn't get the message so was glad I called When we arrived at 2:45 he said I dorm have any more cars!!! He never called my phone number to even make sure I wasn't coming He was very rude about it too not apologetic A good business person would have called and confirmed So we have no rental after being in communication with him for 2 days I think it is very bad business and I can see from the other reviews people have similar experiences I rarely put up any bad review but this really upset our day and it is my friend's birthday to top it off that we were traveling to see family

I called at 8am before flying into Ocean City Municipal. Don asked for my name and what time I'd be arriving. I told him between 10:30 and 11:30. He was a little curt on the phone, but I'll just say he sounded like he had more important things to do. We were delayed a bit and arrived at noon. The counter was empty, so I called the posted number. Don answered right away and pointed out where our Jeep was parked. The keys were in it and the tank was full. After spending the night camping at Asateague, we returned the car to the airport. We parked it right where we picked up and dropped the keys on the counter. We were charged exactly what we were quoted on the phone, plus tax. No BS charges like the national chains, and cheaper, too. The hardest part was driving into Ocean City to find a gas station. When it's this easy to rent a car, we'll fly back to OC a lot more often.

Got a car for $200, and when the 3 days was not even over and took another $200 off my card. We clearly said not took take any off because we were trying to get a loan to actually buy the car. 20 minutes later we called him back and we asked him if he took any off and he did, he took another $200 off. Even though the 3 days were not over and we said not to, he did it anyway. We said we were going to turn it back in on the 3rd day and when we called him and said we were on our way up there he said it's too late and said you'll have to keep it till the next 3 days. He practically stole our money. He took $200 off our card without supervision, and now were forced to keep it and lost our $200, because we didn't know the guy who worked here was a crook. If your thinking about renting a car DO NOT rent a car from here if you don't want to be cheated out of your money. Also if you need a car desperately DO NOT give him your card number or he will probably rip you off like he did us.
